Donald Trump

Donald Trump was the 45th President of the United States, serving a single term from 2017-2021.1) Among many notable aspects of his presidency, of particular historical significance is Trump's role as a world leader during the first year of the COVID-19 crisis,2) as well as the emerging evidence of possible malfeasance during the 2020 Presidential election that lead to the inauguration of former Vice President Joe Biden as the 46th President in January 2021.3)

Operation Warp Speed

Under the Trump administration, the U.S. government launched Operation Warp Speed, a program which “provided US$18 billion in funding for development of vaccines that were intended for US populations.”4)
