Central Intelligence Agency

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is the U.S. is a civilian intelligence organization tasked with foreign intelligence in service of the federal government of the United States. The CIA reports to the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) as required by the Intelligence Reform and Terorrism Prevention Act of 2004.

Not being a domestic intelligence agency, the CIA has no domestic law enforcement powers.
