In 2011, Pfizer partnered with various Alberta public agencies to create the Alberta/Pfizer Translational Research Collaboration Fund. The collaborators included the Alberta Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (EDT), Alberta Innovates, and Western Economic Diversification Canada.
