Brighton Collaboration
The Brighton Collaboration is a non-governmental agency (NGO) originated in 1999 and formed in 2000 to define safety parameters for vaccines, then collect and disseminate it to encourage vaccine uptake worldwide.1) It is a program under the Task Force for Global Health which provides administration services and support, including the management of all of the Collaboration’s donations and grants.

COVID-19
In June 2020, Brighton published a report titled “Priority List of Adverse Events of Special Interest: COVID-19”.2) It was updated several times up to |December 2020.

Currently, the primary funding for the Brighton Collaboration comes from the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI).
