Antonina Maltsev

Antonina Maltsev is a Canadian health policy specialist based in Toronto, Ontario.

Education

Maltsev is a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology student at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University, with a specialization in Strategic Management.

She attended Cornell University's Summer College in the Biological Research and Health Professions stream.

Career and Affiliations

World Bank

Maltsev formerly worked at the World Bank’s Primary Health Care Performance Initiative, where she developed engagement materials for the initiative’s dedicated effort towards improving primary health care in low-and middle-income countries.1)

North American Observatory on Health Systems and Policies

Maltsev worked as a Research Assistant at the North American Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, where she developed reports on Canada’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table

Maltsev is a Memorialization and Evaluation Consultant for the Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table.2) She formerly served as Project Manager on the Secretariat.3)

International Finance Corporation

Maltsev worked for the International Finance Corporation as a graduate intern, then a consultant in 2021.4)

Salvation Army

Maltsev worked as an Epidemiology and Infection Prevention and Control consultant for the Salvation Army in early 2022.5)
