American Association for Cancer Research
The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) is an American charity based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
History
Pamela Ohashi, AACR's Tumor Immunotherapy Program director, participated in the COVID-19 Therapeutics Task Force convened by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED).1)
In the first half of 2021, AACR received four grants from Pfizer:2)
- 2021 Annual Meeting ($25,000)
- Conference on Science of Cancer Health Disparities ($10,000)
- Evolving Tumor Microenvironment in Cancer Progression: Mechanisms and Emerging Therapeutic Opportunities ($5,000)
- 2021 Scientist-Survivor Program ($10,000)
