Agnes Buzyn

Agnes Buzyn was the Health Minister of France when the COVID-19 pandemic began.

French Health Minister Agnes Buzyn reports an 80 year old Chinese tourist diagnosed with Covid-19 has died at Bichat-Claude Bernard Hospital in Paris on Friday 14 February. He is believed to be the first official COVID-19 death outside of Asia.¹⁾

Buzyn resigned as Health Minister in mid-2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic heated up.²⁾

In September 2021, investigators at a special court in Paris found grounds to charge Buzyn with “endangering the lives of others”.³⁾
