Lives in $3.6M Residential Home Purchased by AFLDS

On November 4, 2022, the board of Free Speech Foundation (d/b/a America's Frontline Doctors) began a legal action against Simone Gold. (Most of the case's filings can be accessed for free via RECAP.) The board alleged the Simone Gold turned into the 'rogue founder of AFLDS'.

Both sides of the legal action describe an internal power struggle between the board and Simone Gold, with Gold managing to take control of the AFLDS email system and website. In communications with the board members, Gold argued that she should be leading the organization that she founded and that the board members should resign.

While the board was aware that AFLDS purchased a $3.6M residential home, the board continued to work with Simone Gold as they were in negotiation for Gold's services after they became aware of the purchase. The board was also aware that she lived in the home and served notice of the lawsuit to her home address (808 Myrtle Terrace, Naples, FL 34103).

Arizona Court case

In the Arizona court case, the judge's decision criticized both sides for failing their fiduciary duties to AFLDS.

The parties to this dispute all owe fiduciary duties to the company. They all seem to have forgotten that. Instead, the parties have chosen to spend time and resources fighting with each other in Court.5 These parties, however, have an obligation to AFLDS and their donors to spend whatever time and effort is necessary to resolve their differences and begin to operate AFLDS in a responsible manner.
