“The NGI Enrichers program supports European NGI researchers and innovators to spend 3-6 months in the US or Canada to work and collaborate with US and Canadian hosts to promote knowledge-sharing and establish long-term collaborations on NGI technologies, services, and standards. The program provides travel funding, allowance, and visa for visiting fellows from Europe and supports both fellows and their hosts with boot camps, mentors, visibility, community building and more!”

A new trustworthy data governance and sharing model will be developed in line with the European regulatory framework and taking into account European values while ensuring Trusted Data Ecosystems.”

“TALER will roll out a new electronic payment system that benefits European citizens, merchants, and banks. GNU Taler is a privacy-preserving digital payment system developed by the GNU community and Taler Systems SA with additional funding from various NGI calls (NGI0 PET, NGI0 Entrust, NGI POINTER, NGI TRUST). GNU Taler offers privacy for the buyer while enforcing transparency on sellers. As a result, citizens do not suffer from surveillance when paying with GNU Taler, and States can ensure that businesses can be held accountable for their income and pay their taxes.”
