Fisk received a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Home Economics and studied Clothing and Faculty of Family and Consumer Studies at the University of Guelph.

Tiger Brand Knitting
Fisk ran the Tiger Brand Knitting Company as President from 1978 to 2005. The company filed for bankruptcy multiple times and was sold to a numbered company. The new owners shut down the facility and sourced their products from China.1)

The group existed to promote business investment in the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo and the townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich. It was part of the Ontario Biotechnology Cluster Innovation Program, which also included the City of Guelph, Guelph Partnership for Innovation, the University of Guelph, University of Waterloo, and the Waterloo Region Technology Association.4)
