Immune-mediated hepatitis with the Moderna vaccine, no longer a coincidence but confirmed." This is a case study demonstrating “conclusive evidence of vaccine-induced immune-mediated hepatitis with a rapid onset of liver injury after the first Moderna dose, which on re-exposure led to acute severe autoimmune hepatitis.”

Possible Occurrences/Items of Interest
This section is for cases that may or may not be vaccine related. In some cases we may not know if there was even exposure to a CoVid-19 vaccine, and in all we do not know if there is direct evidence of causality. These cases are shared to help promote honest discourse, exploration and testing for events that are potentially vaccine related.
On May 18, 2021 Children's hospital shared the case of a newborn who was diagnosed with an immune disorder and immune-mediated hepatitis. In the article, entitled “Trusting their instincts: Gary’s parents find help for immune-mediated hepatitis”1), the case was labelled “a medical mystery”. Many tests had to be run to arrive at the final diagnosis. While the boy could have been exposed in the womb, we do not know if the mother had been vaccinated during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. There is no evidence provided supporting a causal relationship to this event.
