The Canadian Pediatric Society (CPS) is a national association of pediatricians based in Ottawa, Ontario.

Work

IMPACT

CPS administers Canadian Immunization Monitoring Program ACTive (IMPACT), a national vaccine safety surveillance initiative carried out by the IMPACT network of infectious disease specialists and nurse monitors. This work is primarily supported by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), with additional funding for meningococcal surveillance is provided by GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer.1) Further funding comes from Merck and Novartis.2)
