On August 8, 2022, Mannarino warned that the Inflation Reduction Act tabled in Congress would cost taxpayers $430 billion for items such as addressing climate change and expanding Medicare's ability to negotiate the prices of certain prescription drugs, paradoxically contributing to further inflation.3)
