FV Bank is an American banking and financial services company based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The bank provides specialized services for cryptocurrency and blockchain companies.
History
In January 2022, FV Bank announced a “strategic investment” into DIRO, a company offering identity and document verification services.1) The bank integrated DIRO's service into their “Know Your Customer” (KYC) protocols.
In September 2022, the United States government seized around $20 million USD in assets held at the bank by Himalaya Exchange.2)
