In mid-late 2021, large numbers of Afghani and South American immigrants to the United States resulted in the erecting of facilities across the country to process and house these individuals. These are located at military bases, rural tent cities and through child protection facilities. Notably, one such facility exists at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Flight tracker and YouTuber Monkey Werkz noted that the infrastructure being set up was alarmingly similar to the Japanese internment camps of World War II that resulted in many U.S. citizens being forcibly relocated, but at double the scale.1)
