The **Bethune Medical Development Association of Canada** is a Canadian non-profit organization based in [[canada:ontario:Toronto]], [[canada:Ontario]]. 

It was established by a group of Canadian medical professionals with a mission of promoting and facilitating international cooperation in medical research, education, patient care, humanitarian activities and cultural exchanges.

In May 2012, BMDAC then-Secretary-General Dr. [[David Dai]] had a dinner meeting with [[Mari Teitelbaum]], director of [[BORN Ontario]], Dr. [[Shi Wu Wen]] and [[Mark Walker]], Senior Scientists & Professors at the [[Ottawa Hospital Research Institute]]/[[University of Ottawa]], [[Stephen Chan]], CEO of [[Dapasoft]], and Mr. [[Michael Lonsway]], President of Dapasoft.
