Yedidia met [[Sam Bankman-Fried]] (SBF) at [[Epsilon Theta]], a boarding fraternity at the [[Massachusetts Institute of Technology]] (MIT).((Parloff, R. In the fall of 2017, SBF invited Yedidia to join him in a venture that would become [[Alameda Research]], which Yedidia declined. He joined Alameda's sister company, [[FTX]], in January 2021.

Following FTX's collapse in late 2022, it was claimed that Yedidia held private FTX keys, allowing him to potentially be responsible for the disappearance of customer funds.((Autism Capital [@AutismCapital].
